I want to start with a special congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Johns! They are such a beautiful couple who really complement each other. It was such a pleasure working with the two of them and for once I can really say the TWO of them. It is very far and few between when the groom is just as involved as the bride and Mr. Johns was….but in a good way. He knew just the times to take control of something to take the pressure of his soon to be wife but wasn't over bearing with his requests. It was so refreshing to see a couple work like this. At the end of the day they both had two goals in mind, first and foremost to be married to each other and to be sure their guests from near and far were taken care of from the moment they arrive.
The Johns turned the clubhouse into a beautiful rustic personalized wedding venue. No detail was left undone. The most treasured touch from the day were the name cards and sign in “book”. The name cards were actually a small piece of a cut tree with everyone’s name and table number carved into them. Their sign in "book", also known as a bench, was made from tree trunks that had their wedding date carved into it. I just know this is going to look beautiful in their back yard.
Tammy from Parker’s Events took care of the exquisite gazebo the couple was married under. This really helped set the stage as the couple said their vows. We work with Parker’s Events for almost every wedding we do. She has such a large variety of backdrops for weddings as well as a true talent in creating the perfect centerpiece for your big day.
Wilson Photography was generous enough to share a few sneak peeks of The Johns beautiful day below. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did. To see more of their work you can go to www.wilsonphotographs.com
